The Samsung Galaxy S25 is here, and it’s the latest addition to the company’s popular series of Galaxy smartphones.  

The base model Galaxy S25 delivers plenty of exciting upgrades over last year’s Galaxy S24.

To start, Samsung has bumped the RAM up to 12GB for the Galaxy S25 (that’s 4GB more than the S24) putting it on par with the S25 Plus and S25 Ultra models to give you extra power for multitasking and overall performance. It also features the new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, designed to boost its Galaxy AI capabilities—arguably the biggest highlight of the S25 series.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 was unveiled on January 22, 2025, at the company’s Unpacked event. It was made available for preorder on the same day with shipping beginning on February 7, 2025.
