Plans

T-Mobile has shaken up its plan lineup for the first time in years with its new T-Mix plans.
Breaking from the carrier’s Experience plans, these ones allow you to add on the specific perks you want, rather than having them packaged in from the jump.
The new lineup includes T-Mix Standard ($55/month for one line, and one perk of your choosing), T-Mix More ($75/month for one line, two perks), and T-Mix Loaded ($95/month for one line, three perks).
Read on as we explain how the new T-Mix plans work, which perks you can choose from, and how they differ from traditional major carrier plans
{{takeaways}}
T-Mobile’s Experience plans include one primary set of extra features, like Netflix with Ads and Hulu (With Ads). You can’t change these perks, as they are set from the jump. This is how major carriers have traditionally done things.
T-Mobile has broken from this model with its new T-Mix lineup, allowing customers to choose exactly which perks they want to add on to their plans. There’s a lot to choose from, including Apple TV, Dashpass by DoorDash, Google AI Pro, YouTube Premium, and yes, Netflix Standard With Ads.
T-Mix works through Picks, which you can use on streaming services, wireless features, and phone promotions. Each plan includes a set number of Picks based on your tier and number of lines. Standard offers the fewest, while More and Loaded give you more.
Different perks cost different amounts. Netflix Standard with ads, Hulu with ads, and Apple TV each cost one Pick, while YouTube Premium costs two and Netflix Premium costs four. You can also use Picks toward eligible phone promotions or wireless features like T-Satellite.
One of the main selling points of T-Mix is that it lets you switch up your perks every three months. If you're not using your Netflix subscription, for example, you can swap it for Paramount+ Essential or Hulu when the next change window opens. Wireless features such as T-Satellite can be changed anytime.
T-Mobile offers four different tiers of perks according to which T-Mix plan you sign up for.
If you sign up for T-Mix Standard, you get access to one Pick per line, which you can spend on perks such as Netflix Standard with ads, Hulu with ads, Apple TV, Google AI Plus, or DoorDash DashPass.
If you sign up for T-Mix More, you get the above, plus another tier of perks, including YouTube Premium, and wireless features like T-Satellite. The T-Mix More plan itself also includes unlimited premium data, up to 4K UHD video streaming, and 60GB of high-speed mobile hotspot data.
Signing up for T-Mix Loaded allows you to access the above two tiers of perks, plus three Picks per line on single-line accounts and up to 11 Picks on four-line accounts. Loaded also includes 250GB of high-speed hotspot data, 30GB of high-speed data in Canada and Mexico, and eligibility for discounted $5-per-month bring-your-own-device watch and tablet lines.
You're not locked into your perk choices forever, but you're not free to swap them whenever you want either.
Here's how it works:
T-Mobile’s new T-Mix plans offer a welcome change from the traditional major-carrier approach to bundling perks into expensive plans. Instead of paying for a predetermined collection of extras, you can pick the streaming services, subscriptions, and wireless features you actually want, with the flexibility to change them throughout the year.
