AT&T deals aren’t limited to phones—the carrier offers a number of ways to save on unlimited data plans as well. Here are some of our favorites.
Did you know that adding lines to your wireless plan can cut your per-line costs down dramatically? In this case of AT&T’s relatively expensive (but high-value) unlimited plans, these savings are especially pronounced.
Consider AT&T’s Unlimited Premium PL plan. AT&T’s flagship unlimited plan includes unlimited “premium” data, 60GB of mobile hotspot data, Mexico and Canada usage privileges—and a price tag for one line of $85.99/month. When you add another three lines to your plan, it comes down in price by $35/line, to $50.99/month. The same goes for AT&T’s other two premium unlimited plans, AT&T Unlimited Extra EL and AT&T Unlimited Starter SL.
Are you a member of the military, a first responder, a veteran, a teacher, a physician, or a nurse? AT&T has some great discounts for you on their plans. AT&T offers a 25% discount on their plans across the board to customers who fall into these categories. You can check your eligibility via ATT.com. Side note: Verizon also offers discounts on their plans to people who fall into these groups, while T-Mobile caters to some but not all.
At Navi, we monitor the latest cell phone offers daily. As soon as we detect a new phone deal, we revise our Phone Deals pages to reflect these changes. Our color-coded price change flags make it easy for wireless phone shoppers to tell if a current phone deal is better (green) or worse (red) than the previous one. We also note whether a trade-in is required, how long the phone deal takes to pay out, and if a qualifying cell phone plan is needed.
When wireless shoppers search for phone deals, they’re usually looking for the best phone they can buy at the lowest price currently available. For this reason, our Phone Deals pages highlight promotionsthat offer maximum savings upfront.
Navi features phone and plan deals from major postpaid wireless carriers, manufacturers, and retailers. Providers highlighted on Navi cannot pay for preferential placement or favorable reviews. We pride ourselves on providing free, unbiased information to empower consumers to make more informed wireless shopping decisions. When you purchase through links from our site, we may earn an affiliate commission.
Generally speaking, it doesn’t matter whether you buy a phone online or in-store from AT&T, as the same deals will be available. However, it’s much easier to get a sense of all of the deals available to you from AT&T by going online.
Yes, AT&T has a senior unlimited plan—specifically, AT&T Unlimited 55+. The plan costs just $40/month per line for Florida residents, and $60/month per line for non-Florida residents.
You can make your AT&T cell phone cheaper by finding an affordable plan to go along with it. Here’s how: compare AT&T plans; identify the best AT&T plan deals; sign up for multiple lines to lower the cost per line; take advantage of special military, first responder, veteran, teacher, physician, or nurse discounts; sign up for paperless billing and Autopay, both of which can lower your plan price by $5/month.
